The position provides support at the professional level in a variety of engagements involving business valuation, transaction advisory services, and investigative and forensic accounting matters. The individual will take ownership of portions of projects under the supervision of more experienced team members. This individual will build initial analyses from source documents and understand the level of quality, accuracy, and deliverable expectations (formatting, layout, accuracy) for each project by assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, schedules, exhibits, agendas, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As an entry level analyst, you will work on engagements for companies within our Business Valuation & Related Financial Services team. The group’s engagements include, business valuation, mergers & acquisitions, forensic and investigative services. As a dedicated team member, you will be responsible for supporting these assignments and will collaborate with our team members who will provide you broad exposure to many different types of advisory services.
• Organizes and manages engagement documents, including the development and maintenance of electronic and hard copy files and databases.
• Data preparation, input, and processing.
• Preparation of spreadsheets, analyses, and written summary analyses.
• Conducts company, economic and industry research; develops and summarizes analysis.
• Participates in engagement team meetings and conferences, as necessary.
• Prepares exhibits, schedules, graphs, and charts for use in reports and presentations.
• Assists in the drafting and preparation of consulting reports and presentations.
• Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Some exposure to valuation and forensic & investigative services industry
• Focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A demonstrated interest in financial advisory services.
• Analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong work ethic.
• Motivated and has the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing and demanding environment.
PREFERENCE
• Significant interest in forensic accounting, business valuation and/or related analysis
