The People Systems Analyst ( HRIS Analyst )supports, administers, and continuously improves the organization’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and related HR technology ecosystem. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, security, and usability of HR data; generates reliable reports and insights for People Operations and leadership; serves as the primary technical point of contact for HRIS-related issues; and leads projects to implement and optimize new modules, integrations, and system features.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as system administrator for the HRIS and performance engagement platform.
  • Manage, audit, and maintain team member data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with firm policies and compliance requirements.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute reports and metrics to support People Operations and business decisions, including headcount, turnover, compliance, and workforce trends.
  • Resolve HRIS-related issues and provide timely technical support to users across supported HR platforms.
  • Collaborate with People Operations, IT, Payroll, and other stakeholders on HRIS projects, integrations, system enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Maintain data security, system permissions, confidentiality standards, and appropriate access controls for team member information.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, testing, implementations, and optimization efforts.
  • Train and assist end users on system functionality, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and update standard operating procedures, user guides, and process documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve People Operations processes through automation, AI-enabled workflows, and improved system design.
  • Partner with People Operations leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate, pilot, and implement AI tools that improve HR service delivery, reporting, team member support, and operational efficiency.
  • Design and support AI-assisted workflows that enhance team member interactions with People Ops, such as self-service support, knowledge access, process navigation, and communications.
  • Help establish practical standards, documentation, and governance for the responsible use of AI within People Operations, including data privacy, quality control, and appropriate human oversight.
  • Monitor emerging HRIS, HR technology, automation, and AI trends to recommend enhancements and innovative solutions aligned with organizational needs.
  • Participate actively and in a positive manner in firm committees, where assistance is needed.
  • Represent the Firm at industry and community events as directed.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Assist the People Operations team in researching, developing, and deploying new approaches, policies, procedures, and technology-enabled solutions to drive continual improvement in workforce-related issues.
  • Support the adoption of AI literacy within People Operations by helping team members understand how to effectively and responsibly use AI tools in their day-to-day work.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of employee-facing AI experiences and recommend improvements that enhance usability, trust, and overall team member experience.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Experience and strong understanding of HRIS platforms, HR data structures, and related People Operations processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and data management skills, with a commitment to accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations, documentation, and user support.
  • Written communication skills sufficient to assist with the development of policies, procedures, training materials, and organizational communications from the People Operations Department.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify system and process improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to evaluate workflows and recommend practical uses of automation and AI to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts, system processes, and AI-enabled tools to non-technical users in a clear and accessible way.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and tasks in a calm, organized, and effective manner.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to the needs of the department and organization.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment regarding data governance, confidentiality, and the responsible use of technology.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to three years of experience with HRIS platforms.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience supporting system configuration, reporting, end-user support, or process improvement in an HR or People Operations environment.
